Recipient of the Gordon-Nikiforuk Admission Scholarship, Dr. Sébastien Brouillard received a degree in dentistry from Laval University in 2013, with the mention of international profile thanks to an internship in France. Upon graduation, he received the Award of Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. From the beginning of his career, Dr. Brouillard has a developed fluency a in surgery and endodontics and has successfully completed many continuing education courses in the different fields of dentistry including gum grafts, complex extractions and implantology. Having previously owned a dental clinic in Old Longueuil, it was in 2018 that he decided to return to New Richmond. He then became the owner of the Baie-des-Chaleurs Dental Clinic with his wife, native of the region. Professional, passionate, and committed to the access to dental care and the evolution of dentistry, Dr. Brouillard is involved in various committees to advance the profession.
A graduate of Laval University in dentistry in 2013, Dr. Karine Martin received the awards of Excellence in Pediatric dentistry and Restorative dentistry upon graduation. Passionate about people and eager to broaden her horizons, Dr. Martin practiced in the various Cree communities of James Bay for a few years. Her little girl’s dream was to practice in her hometown, she returned to New Richmond in 2018 to take up the torch from her childhood dental clinic. She then became the owner of the Baie-des-Chaleurs Dental Clinic with her husband that same year. Following extensive continuing education in the fields of pediatric dentistry and removable prosthesis, Dr. Martin enjoys treating young and old with gentleness and empathy.
Dr. Lise Turgeon completed her dental studies at Laval University in 1983. Working in New Richmond since her beginnings, she has carved out a prominent place for herself in the dentistry landscape in the Gaspe coast. With solid experience, she is recognized for her empathy and legendary kindness. Dr. Turgeon has always had a thirst for learning that makes her as passionate as the first day. She also loves to be aware of all the latest developments in dentistry: she regularly follows, with interest and curiosity, many continuing education courses. Dedicated, she is a reference, particularly in the fields of removable prosthesis and restorations.
In 2018, Dr. Isabelle Tétreault completed her degree in dentistry at Laval University. During her university career, she did an internship in Senegal thanks to which she was able to develop her human and professional qualities. Hard-working and assiduous, Dr. Tétreault quickly developed an interest in cosmetic dentistry from the beginning of her career. Whether through restorations or fixed, removable, or implant-supported protheses, she is determined to make each of her patients smile again. Meticulous and perfectionist, Dr. Tétreault has many hours of continuing education in all fields of dentistry.
A graduate of Laval University in 2021 with a degree in dentistry, Dr. Kim Lessard joined the team of the Baie-des-Chaleurs Dental Clinic upon graduation. Her excellence during her studies is unequivocal: she ends her university career with many honours, including recognitions in operative dentistry, surgery, and oral and maxillofacial pathology. Dr. Lessard began her career with assurance, quickly combining theory and practice and working to improve her knowledge in the different spheres of the dental world. Dedicated, her dynamism and empathy are appreciated by all her patients.
